Eli Gardiner Live at Art's Place

  • Art's Place 35 1st Ave SW Hutchinson, MN, 55350 United States (map)

Born and raised in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and now calling Minneapolis home, Eli Gardiner is a prolific songwriter whose music is as soulful as it is relatable. With two albums released in 2023—a full band live album and the solo acoustic “Transient”—Gardiner has solidified his place as a voice of modern Americana.

Influenced by legends like Dylan, Neil Young, and Tom Waits, Gardiner’s music evokes the sounds of John Moreland, Jason Isbell, and Chris Knight, delivering heartfelt storytelling through soulful melodies and poignant lyrics. His music has been featured on MPR, CBS, The Current, and numerous local stations.

Music in Minnesota says, “Gardiner has a voice that conveys the pieces inside of us that can’t always speak. Relatable, soulful, and honest, his songwriting is structured in observations. He’s a modern voice to old problems that continue to haunt our society.”
