This month, we're celebrating the vibrant energy and untethered creativity of our local youth! Providing a space where children are free to explore, make mistakes, and grow is one of the most rewarding parts of my job. Art provides countless benefits for children such as problem solving, language development, fine and gross motor skills, and social-emotional skills to name just a few. And they get to have A LOT of fun doing it!
Next week we're hosting our monthly Youth Art Day, with a free activity for all ages. Later this month we're offering a Craft Lab class for slightly older kiddos and finalizing details for our Summer Studio art camps. Stay tuned! Crow River Youth Choir - one of our partner groups - is performing their season finale concert. And for the event everyone eagerly awaits all year, our annual Youth Art Show opens on the 30th!
So join us all month long (and beyond) in lifting up our kids and students and celebrating their wild imaginations! We look forward to seeing you soon. Artfully yours, Molly Rivera Executive Director |

We were visited by some young architects at our March Craft Lab! We held a Cardboard Dream House class where students designed and decorated their own mini homes. The center was almost silent with how hard they were concentrating! |
