On view September 27 - November 4
Opening Reception October 22 from 5:30-7pm
Natasha works primarily in print, making installations, posters, and documents that borrow heavily from graphic information systems, design, theatre and methods of display. Homemaking portrays how home and family persevere in the face of earth-shattering loss. Natasha’s subjects are her childhood home from which her family was evicted, and her mother, who passed away shortly afterward. At once a celebration of what was, and an unpacking of how we understand, hold onto and re-establish our place and relationships afterward, this exhibition seeks to lay bare the complicated notions of home, home ownership and familial bonds.
